Windows 10: Add an International Keyboard to a desktop
Windows 11:
1. Open Settings (press the Windows key on your keyboard -> Search for Settings)
2. Search for Language. You should see Time & Language -> Language & Region
3. Click on the options for English -> Language options
4. Scroll to the bottom you should see the Installed keyboards where you can Add a keyboard
5. You can scroll through the options and add the US International keyboard
After you have added the keyboard you should see it in the bottom right next to the time and date on your taskbar. You can click here to switch between keyboard layouts, or press Windows key + Spacebar
