If you are having problems displaying to a projector
1) Clear browsing data and reset settings
2) REMOVE any extensions that are not forced by ADMIN
3) Clear the Cookies for the USER
3) Change out the HDMI/USB-C adapter with the ANKER one
4) make sure that the chromebook is on a flat table where the cord can sit flat rather than hanging off the counter which overtime gravity will ruin the connection.
5) Hit the CTRL + the button above the 5 to toggle between Extended or Mirror
