Sometimes we cannot assign a student to a test or session because they are still enrolled in their previous district on the Pearson Access Next (PAN) website. In this case, you would need to put in an enrollment transfer. Here is how.
Upon logging in, click on the SETUP dropdown and select "Work Requests":
Select the task "Request/Delete Enrollment Transfer", then click Start.
Search for the student using the fields below. The SASID is the state identifier number, which you can find in the student's Aspen record.
When you find the student, you will confirm on the dropdowns which school they are transferring from* and which one in Walpole they are transferring to. Then, click "Send Request".
Now the ball is in the other school's court to approve your request. If it's taking a long time, you may want to call the school and prompt them to approve it.
*Sometimes "Change Enrollment From" dropdown is empty, like in the screencap below. This means that what you have to do is create the student record in PAN, then register the student.
