Depending on whether the student is in a foundational or transitional program, their EAL section on the report card would look like this:
Here's how you input grades. You want to be in the Gradebook top tab:
Click on section you want to grade, then click on the Scores side tab, which will bring you here:
The Grade Columns dropdown (circled) should be set to "Post Columns - Term". The Term dropdown (circled) should be set to the appropriate term.
In the grade column (T3grade in this case), you would enter P or F for pass fail.
The other columns correspond to the following standard on the report card. You would enter C, O, S, or R as appropriate:
T3Behavior - Demonstrates respectful behavior
T3Classwork - Demonstrates effort in class
T3Homework - Promptly completes and returns homework
T3 Writing - IGNORE. SKIP THIS COLUMN.
T3Cmt and T3Cmt2 are canned comments that correspond to the Teacher Comments column. When filled in, it would look like this (circled):
Here is a middle school comment bank guide. For the above student example, the teacher typed in 200 in T3Cmt and 023 in T3Cmt2.
YOU MUST CLICK THE "POST GRADES" BUTTON FOR EACH SECTION AFTER YOU FINISH GRADING. IF YOU DON'T CLICK THE "POST GRADES" BUTTON, THE GRADES WILL NOT SHOW UP ON THE REPORT CARD.
