Your SmartFind account must be activated by phone before you can access the phone, web, or mobile versions of SmartFind. Your Access ID and temporary PIN (typically both set to be your employee number) were sent to you by email.
- Employees hired after June 1, 2023 received their SmartFind email soon after hiring.
- Employees hired before June 1, 2023 received their SmartFind email on June 8, 2023 (search for "NOTICE OF NEW ABSENCE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM")
Registering with the System
- Call the main system number 508-409-2183
- Enter your Access ID, followed by the star (*) key.
- When the system asks for your PIN, enter your Access ID again, followed by the star (*) key.
- You will be asked to record your name and when you have finished recording, press the star (*) key.
To accept the recording once recorded press 1. - Next you will hear the primary location and classification that has been set up in your profile. If this information is not correct, continue with the registration process and then contact HR to correct the information.
- Create your PIN. Enter the Pin you want to use followed by the star (*) key. The Pin must be numeric, must meet the minimum length requirements for your system and cannot be more than 9 digits.
- The system will repeat what was entered to verify that you entered it correctly. If it is correct press 1.
You are now set up to call in absences by phone. If you would also like to be able to manage absences via the web portal, now is a good time to verify your web access (below).Verifying Your Web Access
- Be sure to complete Steps 1-7 above before trying to access the web portal.
- Visit the SmartFind web portal at https://walpole.sfe.powerschool.com/logOnInitAction.do (this link can also be found on the Staff Links webpage).
- Choose "Sign in with Google" and, if prompted, use your WPS Google account.
