Here are some tips for a successful livestream on 10/18/2023 with Portuguese interpretation provided.

1. Prepare & share any slides you might be using: Please send them to [email protected] at your earliest convenience.

2. Publicize your event: You can have all parents join via Lexikeet's platform at: https://stream.lexikeet.com/walpole. 

3. Assign an On Site Emergency Contact and/or Moderator: Your Contact can watch the incoming questions and messages from Lexikeet Support from here:

Participants will be able to submit questions in their home language - Lexikeet Support will translate them in real time. Please read those questions aloud since participants cannot read one another's comments/questions.

4. Send your Contact/Moderator's Contact Information to Lexikeet: Please respond to this email immediately with your Moderator's cell phone & email address. Lexikeet Support will maintain contact with your Moderator throughout the live stream.

5. You'll be broadcasting from Lexikeet:  Simply click on the following link, then choose Join and Allow your camera and mic. All set! (Find Visual Instructions here)

6. What Participants Will See: Participants will be allowed to enter your Lexikeet live stream room about 10 min before "showtime" and will choose their preferred audio language. They will then see a live interpreter on screen, as well as your camera. 

7. Working with Interpreters:  Try to speak at a moderate pace. Encourage viewers to submit questions/comments in their home language.
