Step-by-step Calibration:
- Power on: your Epson BrightLink 1480Fi projector.
- Press the Menu button on the remote control to open the projector's settings.
- Select the Pen/Touch menu and press Enter.
- Select Auto Calibration and press Enter.
- Confirm the calibration screen: by adjusting the image focus if necessary and pressing Enter.
- Ensure the entire projected image area is free from any objects or obstructions.
- Select Yes to start the calibration.
- Wait for the projected pattern to disappear, indicating the calibration process is complete.
If Auto Calibration Isn't Accurate:
- Manually Calibrate: If the cursor and pen position don't match after auto calibration, perform a manual calibration. In the same menu, select Manual Calibration and touch the centers of the flashing green circles that appear on the screen.
- Check the Pen: Make sure the pen tip is secure.
- Remove Obstructions: Ensure nothing is blocking the signal between the pen and the interactive receiver on the projector.
- Check Connections: If using PC interactivity, ensure the USB cable is connected securely.
- Reset Settings: If problems persist, reset the projector's keystone, Quick Corner, and Arc Correction settings to their factory defaults.
