In the past, we've sent our Google Sheets of family portal logins. Going forward, you can access this information on Aspen. The reason for this change is that looking up the information on Aspen will give you the most up-to-date information. The Aspen database updates in real time. The Google Sheets, on the other hand, were static documents that slowly became out-of-date over time. It only showed you a snapshot of the data at that moment in time, and it would not reflect if someone had recently reset their password, or changed their contacts.
Here is how you can view the login information.
1. Be in School view.
2. Click on the "Global" top tab.
3. Click on the "Student" side tab.
4. You will see a list of student tables. Scroll until you see the "Student Contact" and click on it.
It will take you to the Student Contact table
5. Make sure your filter is set to "EP 1 & EP 2"
6. Make sure your field set is set to "Portal fields"
After following these steps, you will see the contact information that we would have put in a spreadsheet, but now you can access it in real time. If the password field is empty, that means the user has changed it themselves, and so if they don't remember it, they'll probably need a password reset.
